What Conditions You Can Keep for Marriage:
A marriage is a contract between a husband and wife. The religion of Islam terms marriage as a contract between the two. In Pakistan, the law is also made according to the guidelines provided in Islam. The Pakistani government has a specimen for marriage called a nikah nama. There is a special column in the nikah nama where, if the husband and wife have decided on any conditions between them, they can mention them there. You can keep any conditions for marriage in Pakistan, but these conditions should be according to the law. Column 17 of this nikah nama says that if any special conditions are decided, they can be mentioned here. These conditions are required to be filled at the time of marriage and not later on. These conditions can be mentioned even if you are getting married through any of the services below.

Condition That can be mentioned:
Below are the conditions that can be mentioned in the marriage certificate at the time of marriage.
Dower Amount:
The dower amount is a conditional amount that the husband has to pay to the wife in case he gives her a divorce. Divorce is a mandatory condition and a requirement of law. The husband has to mention a dower amount as a condition in the nikahnama in Pakistan. Without the dower, there is no marriage legally and religiously.
Any Property:
The husband and wife can also mention any property as a condition in the marriage certificate. This property can be mentioned as dower or otherwise also. The property can be any land, gold, vehicle, etc.
Monthly Expenses to wife:
The husband also has to mention the monthly amount to be paid to the wife. This condition is the requirement of Pakistani law. The Pakistani law entitles the wife to maintenance, which the husband is bound to pay to the wife after the marriage. There is a column 20 where the husband has to mention this amount as a condition for the marriage.
Delegated right of Divorce:
The husband has the right to divorce the wife in Pakistan. He also has the right to delegate this right of divorce in Pakistan to the wife or any other person. If the husband has delegated the right of divorce, then it should be mentioned in column 18 of the nikah nama. It is not obligatory to delegate the right of divorce. It is optional.
Special Conditions:
The above-mentioned conditions are those for which there is a column in the nikah nama, but if there is something else decided between the husband and the wife, it can be mentioned in column 17 of the nikah. You can mention anything, but it cannot be against the law. For example, you cannot mention that the husband will do smuggling for you, or you cannot mention that the husband cannot divorce the wife etc. The conditions can be according to the law.
